Range Finder is an ultimate distance, height and angle measurement tool with augmented reality, compass and inclinometer. Range Finder turns your device into a powerful measurement multi-tool!

RANGE FINDER TOOL. Measure the height and distances to objects using a set of 8 sniper scopes.

MAP DISTANCE MEASUREMENT. Multi-point distance measurement: just add several points and measure distance between them.

RADIUS AND ANGLE MEASUREMENT. Using radius map overlay measure an angle between two points and display a radius.

WAYPOINTS. Add waypoints on the map with a long tap. You can choose icons, images and audio notes for each waypoint.

TRACKING. Track waypoints using their azimuth and distance overplayed on the camera view or compass screen.

COMPASS. Compass is overlayed on the map to show Sun and Moon rise and set azimuths as well as stored waypoints. When waypoints go off the screen, you can still track them using tracking labels on the border of the screen.

AUGMENTED REALITY VIEW. Use 3D augmented reality camera view to show positions and directions to waypoints.

SCREENSHOTS. Take screenshots with all the on screen data just with a single tap.

Range Finder Tool app good for

I use this all the time with my scouts. They are constantly trying to grab my phone. :-)
Why isnt this app a pre loaded thing? Very phone should have this app.

Some bad moments

Seems like it may have useful features, but there really arent any useful instructions on how to use the app. The url provided in the app description (same as accessed through the help feature) only shows various screen shots of the app with no explanation of how to use those screens. Look at the url for the manual before buying, if the manual isnt helpful dont buy the app because thats all the information youre going to get.
I liked my original view of this app but now I cannot get it to function as a range finder. An instruction sheet would be helpful, preferably embedded in this app.
As stated, the app lacks any instructions. Does this not function correctly because of user error? Maybe. So show me how to use it. The radius measurement would be an excellent and very useful tool for me if it wasnt so frustrating. It disappears at the slightest tap on the screen which means I cant explore around, nor zoom in or out without having to start over (to no avail) every time I touch the screen. Again, maybe its me, but without instructions, how can I possibly know that for sure? Please fix. This app has great useful potential.
App is completely great! UI is smooth and easy to use. simple operation! Definitely a keeper!
Works very well! Was easy to figure out and use. Love that you can switch between miles, feet, etc. Great tool that I will continue to use often.
Quite a nice measurement tool which its pretty amazing the app is compatible for both my iPhone and iPad. Love it, seems impressively simple and effective to use when the user need a quickly rough measurement for distance, height or angle.
